Detailed Description
All new users of the SuperLab (SC3-15) must purchase the approved PPE Starter Pack via the university’s eShop. This is a mandatory requirement for access to the teaching laboratory.
Before You Purchase
1. Create an eShop Account This is essential for tracking your purchases and ensuring compliance.
2. Need Help? If you experience issues purchasing approved PPE, please book an appointment with a member of the technical team.
Important Notice
· You must register your purchased items after payment. Failure to register will result in your starter pack or replacement items not being issued.
· Access to the lab is strictly prohibited without approved PPE. This includes goggles, lab coat, and locker access.
· Lost Items. If any item is lost, you must purchase a replacement via the eShop before being allowed back into the lab.
What’s Included in the Starter Pack
· Dräger X-pect® 8200 Safety Goggles – Designed for optimal fit and comfort.
· Unisex Laboratory Coat – Asymmetrical stud front, stretch cuffs, and three pockets. Available in sizes XS to XXL.
Locker Use Policy
· Lockers are mandatory for all SuperLab users.
· You are responsible for storing your PPE in your allocated locker after each lab session.
· Lost items must be replaced before lab access is reinstated.
