This course introduces students to the basic constructional methods, using traditional materials and methods that have been used for several centuries.


Detailed Description

The course is in the main practically orientated and you will be guided through up to two set assignments that are all supplied, one of which is a small stool that you will to take away and keep as a souvenir.

The course is aimed at those with little or no previous experience and will cover the application of fillings, springs, hand stitching, covering materials and other upholstery techniques.

This course is suitable for Students who have a strong interest in upholstered furniture but no knowledge of upholstery construction. An ideal opportunity to experience and learn how Traditional upholstery is put together.

Duration: 4 days a week for 2 weeks
