These classes are designed to run on from the Intermediate Classes, concentrating on the advanced stages of construction and assembly, where the emphasis is on the final completion of the project. Please note that these classes are not suitable for complete beginners or inexperienced woodworkers.
The course follows a tried and tested programme that has been used for over thirty years with great success. The evening course runs in blocks of 10 weeks and is designed to allow participants to build upon the skills necessary to build guitars. These courses aim to give participants the opportunity to:
- To refine the skills & techniques already acquired through the Introductory and Intermediate Classes.
- To independently use these skills, under tutorial guidance, in developing and finishing their project.
- Build upon previous knowledge.
These advanced classes are particularly suitable for those students who have completed the Intermediate Classes. They are designed to run on from the initial construction stage addressed in the Intermediate Classes, in order to further equip students with the skills and techniques to finish their instrument.
