Detailed Description

Payment instructions:

1) Enter the amount of credit you would like to purchase in the "Amount" field above.
2) Follow instructions on screen.
3) After making payment please print out a hard copy of your receipt and bring it to the plot room or laser room to present to a student technical assistant.

Large format printing and large format scanning:

Open during term time: Monday - Friday 10:00 - 17:00
A student technical assistant is available during these hours to help assist you.

A0 printing £8.00 per sheet full color (£5.00 per sheet line drawings)
A1 print £5.00 per sheet full color (£3.00 per sheet line drawings)
A2 print £3.00 per sheet full color (£5.00 per sheet line drawings)

A2 to A0 sizes (Please note we do not print A3 or below)
All image formats are acceptable.
Plotters are available on a first come first served basis, at busy times it is worth coming early to avoid long queues.
80gsm paper is provided on the roll however other material can be fed into the plotters at the student technical assistant's discretion.
Large format scanning to a maximum size of A0 is free of charge.

Opening times during term time:
Monday 10:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 16:30
Tuesday 10:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 16:30
Wednesday 14:00 - 16:30 (closed in the morning)
Thursday 10:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 16:30
Friday 10:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 16:30
A student technical assistant is available during these hours to help assist you.

Laser cutting price is £15 per hour (1 hour minimum)
The laser bed size is 18 x 32 inches.
Please bring Adobe Illustrator format files with a cut layer and an etch layer only.
The laser cutter is available on a first come first served basis, at busy times, usage will be restricted to one hour slots.
Laser safe materials up to about 3mm thick are OK to cut on our machines although it's worth checking these links to see what can and can't be cut:
