Certified Copies of Transcripts (Historic - 1992 or Prior)

As a consequence of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, transcripts will be issued by email as PDF files only, until such time as the University postal system has been restored.

Purchase course transcript(s) which relate to precursor institutions of London Metropolitan University (City of London Polytechnic and the Polytechnic of North London; ca.1970 to 1992). Transcripts relating to even earlier institutions (e.g. the Sir John Cass College, the City of London College, etc.) may also be provided subject to availability of data.

Please note that, on 1st August 2002, the University of North London merged with London Guildhall University to form the institution as it is known today, London Metropolitan University.

Detailed Description

The University can issue a replacement or additional transcript at a cost of £12 for the first copy and £2 for each additional copy in the same transaction (e.g. £14 for 2 copies). Please note students who are on short courses should contact us BEFORE PAYMENT.

If you would like to pay for more than one copy, please adjust the 'Amount' at the top of this page, accordingly, BUT LEAVE THE 'QUANTITY' AT '1', to avoid being overcharged.

PLEASE NOTE:

We do not hold results/awards data for the following courses:

1. Any professional courses (e.g. ACCA, Institute of Marketing, Communications and Marketing Foundation, Institute of Purchasing & Supply, Chartered Institute of Bankers) and also City & Guilds. In these cases, you will need to approach the awarding body concerned for confirmation of award and course transcripts.

2. Any HNC/HND/ND courses where awards were made prior to 1993. In these cases, you may approach Pearson:

Please also note that replacement degree certificates (as opposed to transcripts) relating to awards made from c.1970 to 1992 (inclusive) may be obtained from the Open University Validation Services (now the official guardians of all CNAA* awards records and the only body empowered to reissue certificates in the name of the (now dissolved) CNAA. (*Council for National Academic Awards).

Please note that awards prior to ca.1970 may have been conferred as external degrees of the University of London.
